The unicorn birthday games of Jeux et Compagnie

Unicorn horn and tail: you can make a horn and a tail to play this birthday unicorn game, or you can tell the child at the beginning of the line that he is the horn and the child at the other end line he is the tail. Ask all the children to line up and hold hands. The object of this game is for the head of the unicorn to try to catch its tail. Kids can't let go of their hands doing this. The tail can hide behind other players to avoid being grabbed by the head but still can't let go of others' hands.

Cloud Mouth: Catch who can set the most marshmallows in their backchat and always say "unicorn". Marshmallows can be called unicorn palls. It's a fun and effortless game.

A chocolate unicorn: make teams of two players. One player from each team kneels and puts their head back. His partner must stack as many Oreos on his forehead as possible in one minute. If they fall, you have to start over.

Unicorn Catching Game: One person is the unicorn, and they must try to tag other players to turn them into a unicorn. The affected children then become unicorns and attempt to transform the remaining children. The last player in play will be the first unicorn for the next game.

Unicorn story: tell a unicorn story together. You start telling the story of a bit unicorn (kids name and grow the unicorn through adventures), you start the adventure with this unicorn, and then you involve the children. Children love this game because it engages them in all its forms. Create a character and take them on an adventure of their own.

2-Pony-themed birthday games

Here

are some ideas for little pony-themed birthday games. Games are easy to set up

with kids ages 5-6+ and require little to no materials and only things you have

at home.

Pony themed birthday game ideas

Pony Race: Organize a hilarious pony race. Children hug an inflatable horse (balloon, or whatever) between their legs and "gallop" through an obstacle course that they create.

It's super funny. Sound a bell, triangle, bugle, or trumpet to start the race.

A funny story: to create a funny story, you need 10 paper bags (or something else), several pieces of paper, and several pens or pencils. Label each of the bags with one of the categories below.

  • Your first name
  • A food
  • An object
  • A color
  • A part of the body
  • A friend's first name
  • A-town any first name
  • A game
  • A feeling

The apple: hang a small apple using a string on a tree for each player. Each player must eat their apple-like a

pony, without hands.

Relay races: you can organize relay races. The first player advances at a "walk", the next player at a

"trot", the third at a "gallop", and the fourth will go at a "lightning gallop" in a sprint to the finish line! You can mix up the gaits and include other ideas, such as posing like a trained pony for the

circus or showjumping races.

Pony's Tail: Use a pony poster or enlarge an image from your computer to the desired size. Make copies of the pony's tail for each child and cut them out. Each child must pin the tail on the pony while blindfolded. Whoever is closest to the correct location wins a prize.

3-Games about insects

If you have a fan of ants or butterflies at home, an insect-themed birthday party might be the perfect fit. Some guests may think bugs are gross, but this party may change their minds or spark an interest in bugs. Ideally, insect-themed games let kids celebrate the wonders of the outdoors indoors, but when the weather is nice, you can also play insect-themed games in your backyard.

Whatever the weather, rain, or shine, an insect-themed party shows just how interesting creepy crawlies can be.

Games about insects: ideas from Games and Company

Crawler Race: A winding caterpillar race is fun for parents and children alike, especially young children who enjoy this game. To prepare, create two side-by-side winding paths in your garden by marking them with balls tied to golf tees or lawn stakes. The balloons along the paths will also look like long winding caterpillars. Split the parties into two groups and have each group line up at the birth of each path.

Firefly Game: A game played in the dark. Find the rules of the game and the variants on my Firefly game page. It's a bit like a variant of hide-and-seek where the children have to find the firefly.

Hot Tarantula: This game plays exactly like the original Hot Potato game. But instead of using a potato, use a giant, hairy black tarantula and listen to some scary music.

Flight of ladybugs:

  1. Get ready to kick off this fun insect-themed game by inflating several red balloons and decorating them with black dots to look like ladybugs.
  2. Divide the players into two teams and have each team form a circle.
  3. Place a group of balloons in each circle. You can start with one ball per player or choose more or less depending on the age of the children.

Don't Wake the Bumblebee: Another great insect game for young children. For the first trick, you are the bumblebee to show the children how to play. Start by squatting and hiding your face by pretending to sleep.
